From June through August 2020, we will be running horsemanship programs for riders ages 6 to 13. No riding experience necessary! Sign up using the form at the bottom of the page.
It currently appears that we will not be able to start camp in June. We are still hopeful that we will be able to hold some sessions later in the summer however.
We offer half-day (9 to 12:30) or full-day (9 to 3) sessions. Half-day sessions are $295 per week, full days are $395 per week. Multi-session and sibling discounts are available.
We are waiving camp deposits for now as we wait to see how the summer will play out. If you would like to reserve a slot for Session 3 or later, please fill out the application, knowing that the summer season is not a certainty. We will contact you as soon as we have the information we need to make a decision.
If you had sent in an application, please be assured that you will have first priority in reserving any sessions that become available. However, due to the uncertainty around the summer schedule, we have returned all deposits and payments. If you sent one in and have not received a refund, please let us know!
Programs include a daily riding lesson. We ride every day, no matter what the weather!
Yup, we do chores: muck stalls, fill water buckets, feed hay, clean tack, and bring horses in and out from the field, for example.
A rider has to know how to bathe, groom and tack their horse!
Learn a little horse anatomy and behavior, and general knowledge about horse breeds and colors.
Explore saddles, bridles, other tack, and riders' clothing to understand the purpose and function of the equipment we use.
Learn what goes on at a horse show. Take part in a horseless horse show with friends!
